By train (Deutsche Bahn)
The museum can be reached either from the train station at Berlin - Zoologischer Garten or Berlin - Ostbahnhof. At either train station there is a connection to the rapid transit system (S-Bahn).

By rapid transit (S-Bahn) and underground (U-Bahn)
All rapid transit trains on the east-west axis stop at Hauptbahnhof (or main train station) and at Friedrichstraße. The rapid transit lines S 1, S 2 and S 25, as well as the underground line U 6, which all travel in the north-south directions, stop only at Friedrichstraße. The U 6 line also stops at Zinnowitzerstraße and Oranienburger Tor.

The museum is a 10-minute walk from Hauptbahnhof. You turn into the Invalidenstraße to the east (go right). After crossing the Sandkrugbrücke (bridge), you go right and follow the signs for the Berlin Medical Historical Museum.

From the train station at Friedrichstraße, you can take the bus 147 in the direction "U Leopoldplatz" three stations to the Charité entrance at Luisenstraße. On foot, you follow the Reinhardtstraße and Luisenstraße to the entrance at Schumannstraße 20-21 (main check point, information). You follow the drive (Virchowweg) north until you reach the Pathology building, then you follow the signs for the Berlin Medical Historical Museum.

From the underground stations at Zinnowitzerstraße and Oranienburger Tor (U 6), you reach the Invalidenstraße and Hannoversche Straße in the west in 15 min. on foot and proceed to the entrance in the Luisenstraße.

By Bus
The museum is easily reached by bus. The entrance at the Schumannstraße can be reached on the bus 147, the entrance at the Luisenstraße also on the bus 147, and the entrance at the Invalidenstraße on the buses 147, 240, and 245.

By automobile
It is not advisable to arrive by car as there are very few places to park near the Charité. There is only the car park at Phillipstraße/Hannoversche Straße (subject to fees).
