The Berlin Historical Museum serves not only to exhibit historical and contemporary documents, but also as a meeting place for scientific discourse.

The ruin of the former Rudolf Virchow Lecture Hall in the BMM, with its historic charm, presents a unique event location that has made for an unforgettable experience for guests from all over the world.

The lecture hall of the pathological museum was destroyed toward the end of World War II by bombings. After the war, the building was refitted with a roof and windows, so that the rest of the building could be used again. The former lecture hall was degraded to a storage area.

Since the middle of the 1990s the "preserved" ruin has been used for formal events, social get-togethers and scientific exchange.

The room, equipped with modern conference technology, offers a unique atmosphere for a wide variety of events.

This room can be rented for:

   press conferences
   scientific seminars
   formal events in connection, for ex., with conferences
   product presentationens
   private gatherings

  microphone
  projection surface
  slide and overhead projectors
  digital projector
